About me

I am Cristian Romero, known across the internet as ChrisDRS.dev. I am deeply passionate about computing and software development, particularly within the web ecosystem. I genuinely enjoy keeping myself up to date, exploring new technologies, and learning constantly.

I specialize in frontend development, utilizing a modern stack that includes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I possess an advanced level of proficiency in web layouts and styling, regularly working with tools such as Tailwind CSS and Sass. Furthermore, I have practical, hands-on experience with React and a competent command of Next.js, technologies that I have been actively using for over a year across freelance projects, both online and locally in Panama.

Although my primary focus is the frontend, I have also worked on full-stack projects, participating in the entire development lifecycle: from initial planning and design, through to backend implementation, databases, authentication, secure payment integrations, and deployment. Throughout this process, I have acquired valuable experience working with Node.js, PostgreSQL (specifically leveraging Supabase), Firebase, and cloud services such as Google Cloud.

In recent months, I have optimized my workflow by leveraging tools powered by artificial intelligence, which has allowed me to be significantly more efficient and dedicate more time to strengthening my core knowledge. Currently, alongside my ongoing university education at the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, I am delving deep into more analytical and scientific areas such as data handling, statistics, and engineering, with the core goal of continuously expanding my skill set within the field of software development.
